3. Data Storage and Synchronization
3.1 iCloud and CloudKit
Replex uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services to synchronize your workout data across your devices. When you enable iCloud sync:
- Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
- You can access your data on any device signed in to your Apple ID
- Data synchronization is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions
You can disable iCloud sync at any time through your device settings, which will store data locally on your device only.
3.2 Local Storage
Replex also uses Core Data for local data persistence on your device. This ensures the App functions properly even when iCloud is unavailable.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With Your Consent: We may share your information when you explicitly consent to such sharing
- Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:
- Apple: For iCloud/CloudKit synchronization services
- Firebase (Google): For analytics and app performance monitoring
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities

5. Analytics
Replex uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to collect and analyze usage data. This helps us understand how users interact with the App and improve our services. Firebase Analytics may collect:
- App usage statistics
- Feature usage patterns
- Device and app performance metrics
- Crash reports and error logs

6. Calendar Integration
Replex offers optional calendar integration using Apple's EventKit framework. If you choose to use this feature:
- We will request permission to access your calendar
- Workout events will be added to your system calendar
- Calendar data is stored locally on your device and synced through your iCloud account (if enabled)
- We do not access or store your existing calendar events
You can revoke calendar access at any time through your device's Settings app.
7. Location Services
Replex offers optional location tracking for workouts. If you choose to enable this feature:
- We will request permission to access your location
- Location data is stored locally and synced through iCloud (if enabled)
- Location data is only used to tag workout locations and is not shared with third parties
You can disable location services at any time through your device's Settings app.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information:
- Data encryption in transit and at rest through iCloud/CloudKit
- Secure authentication through Apple ID
- Regular security assessments and updates
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You can access your data at any time through the App
- Modification: You can modify or delete your workout data directly in the App
- Deletion: You can delete the App and all associated data from your device
- iCloud Control: You can manage iCloud sync through your device's Settings
- Location Control: You can enable or disable location services through your device's Settings
- Calendar Control: You can manage calendar access through your device's Settings

10. Children's Privacy

By using Replex, you consent to the transfer of your information to facilities located in other jurisdictions, including but not limited to Apple's and Google's data centers.
